Annie MacDonald (she/her) is a Canadian Painter based in Halifax/Kjipuktuk and Montreal/Tiohtià:ke. She received a BFA from NSCAD in 2020. Annie's recent work is motivated by her relationship with dreaming and and time spent in rural Cape Breton/Unama'Ki, where she grew up. Her work merges the nostalgic and anxious impressions of the dream world with her interest in natural history, mythology and medieval art.
